Understand store refreshes and background sync

Learn what Meldsy refreshes, how marketplace changes arrive, and when a manual refresh helps.

What a refresh does

A store refresh rereads marketplace data and updates the Meldsy workspace. Orders, listings, and quantity-sync state are handled separately so a slow task does not block everything else.

  • Order refreshes bring in new and changed orders.
  • Listing refreshes update listing identity, state, variations, and availability.
  • Quantity reconciliation checks linked marketplace quantities against the latest store data.

How marketplace changes reach Meldsy

Meldsy checks the marketplace when a change is reported and runs follow-up checks for anything that arrives late.

When to refresh manually

  • You just connected or reconnected a store.
  • A marketplace order or listing change has not appeared after the expected background interval.
  • You restored an excluded listing and want its orders back now.
  • A quantity-sync message asks for attention after credentials or mappings changed.

If Meldsy says a refresh is already running

Let the current job finish, then reopen the view or retry. Repeated clicks do not create a safer or faster import. If the status remains unchanged, use the support form and include the shop name, marketplace, approximate time, and the screen where the message appeared.
