Create a reusable instruction set
- Open Settings, then Custom instructions.
- Create a set and give it a clear internal name.
- Choose a QR link, a 4 × 6 instruction image, or both.

Choose whether the set prints a QR link, an instruction image, or both. - For a QR link, add the customer-facing title, caption, and destination URL.
- For an image, upload the finished printable guide and review its preview.
- Save the instruction set.
Attach it to listings
From Listings, select the listing and choose the instruction set. You can apply one set to multiple listings when they share the same customer guidance.

Use variation rules when needed
Set a default instruction set for the listing, then add rules for storefront option combinations that need different guidance. More specific matching rules take precedence; ties use the rule furthest to the right in Meldsy’s editor.

Choose the fallback instructions
When the print bundle includes Instructions, Meldsy resolves the set in this order: a matching variation rule, the listing’s default instruction set, then the Default instructions selected in Print bundle settings.
- Open Settings, then Print bundle.
- Make sure the Instructions component is in the saved layout.
- Under Default instructions, choose the set to use when the listing has no assignment.

Choose the bundle-wide fallback used only when no matching variation or listing assignment exists. - Save the print bundle setup and preview an order that does not have listing-specific instructions.
Delete an instruction set carefully
Open Settings, then Custom instructions, select the saved set, and choose Delete. Confirm only when the set and its uploaded image are no longer needed.
- Deleting removes the saved instruction set and its uploaded image.
- All listing assignments and variation rules that use the set are removed.
- A listing with no remaining assignment can use the print bundle’s Default instructions.
- If the deleted set was the print bundle default, Meldsy clears that selection; choose and save another default before printing.
- The deletion cannot be undone.
Confirm the printed result
Open a real order with the relevant variation and inspect the bundle before printing. A 4 × 6 instruction image fills a 4 × 6 page and uses half a page in a Letter layout. Confirm the QR destination, image orientation, and selected variation before generating the PDF.
