Connect your Pinterest account
- Open Connections from the left navigation.
- Under Integrations, choose Pinterest.
- Review the board, publishing, analytics, and account access Meldsy requests.
Review the access summary before continuing to Pinterest. - Choose Continue with Pinterest, sign in to the intended business account, and approve access.
- Return to Meldsy and confirm the connected Pinterest name.
What the connection is used for
- Read your boards so Meldsy can offer board choices and automatic routing.
- Create image or carousel Pins from eligible listing photos and storefront links.
- Read organic impressions and clicks for Pins published by Meldsy.
- Refresh the connection securely when Pinterest access is renewed.
Reconnect when access changes
Use Reconnect Pinterest on the existing connection when Pinterest access expires or the account permissions change. Reconnecting keeps the existing Meldsy marketing calendar, campaigns, mappings, and metrics.
- Open Connections and choose Pinterest.
- Choose Reconnect Pinterest.
- Sign in to the same Pinterest business account and approve access.
- Return to Marketing and choose Refresh if work was waiting for the connection.
Disconnect without losing your marketing plan
Disconnecting removes Meldsy’s Pinterest authorization. Existing drafts, campaigns, board mappings, and saved metrics stay in Meldsy, but scheduled and automatic publishing cannot continue until you reconnect.
- Pins already published on Pinterest are not deleted.
- Review any scheduled work after reconnecting.
- Use Pause on a repeating campaign when you want to stop only that schedule.
