Meldsy registers operational webhooks for you
Meldsy registers 13 operational webhooks automatically for that store.
Which changes are tracked
Product events refresh the catalog. Order, refund, and fulfillment events refresh orders and their current status. Inventory updates queue location-aware stock reconciliation. App-uninstalled and scope-change events keep the saved authorization in sync with Shopify.

app/scopes_updateCheck the webhook status in Meldsy
- Open Settings → Connections → Shopify and expand Advanced details.
- Check Webhooks. After setup finishes, it should read 13/13 configured.

The Webhooks count checks registration; Queue shows work still waiting or needing attention. - Check Queue for pending or failed work. Read any error before retrying; a successful registration count is not proof that every delivery has arrived.
- If a change you already made in Shopify has not appeared, allow background processing to finish or use Meldsy’s normal Sync control.
Repair missing webhooks
An explicit reconnect rotates Meldsy’s operational webhook destination and repairs subscriptions.
- Confirm the custom app is still installed and its released version has all the required scopes.
- If you changed scopes or credentials, use Reconnect Shopify to verify access with the saved store.
- In Advanced details, choose Repair webhooks. Meldsy repairs its own operational subscriptions rather than changing unrelated subscriptions.
- Wait for the result, then recheck Webhooks and Queue. If failed work remains after its underlying error is fixed, choose Retry failed work.
What to expect from automatic updates
- Shopify can deliver duplicates or events out of order. Meldsy verifies signatures, queues identifiers, and rereads the current Shopify record instead of treating a notification as another sale or stock deduction.
- Background reconciliation and manual Sync provide a safety net for missed events. Automatic processing can continue with the Meldsy tab closed when the hosted worker is running.
- Webhooks are not an instant-delivery guarantee. Throttling, outages, retries, and queued work can delay what you see.
- Webhooks do not create missing ship-by dates, retrieve every shipping label, or enable stock writes before you choose a location and review your links.
