Create and schedule Pinterest Pins

Build a Pinterest draft or automatic schedule from listing photos, captions, a board, and a storefront link.

Choose eligible listings

The campaign chooser groups listings by connected store and listing section. It offers listings that are included in Meldsy, active, in stock, and have a photo and storefront link. Meldsy checks each listing again before publishing so an outdated schedule does not promote an unavailable item.

Create a campaign

  1. Open Marketing and choose Campaigns.
  2. Choose Create campaign to open the campaign window.
  3. Open Listings, then select one or more listings from the store and section tree. You can select up to 40 at a time.
  4. In Creative preview, review every selected listing. Use each photo checkbox, Select first 4, or Deselect all to choose one to four storefront photos. The selected photos publish together as one carousel Pin; choosing one photo creates a standard image Pin.
  5. Choose a Pinterest board. The board, first publish time, approval mode, and repeat setting apply to the campaign.
  6. Edit the Pin title template. Use {title}, {store}, or {section} to insert each listing’s own details.
  7. Enter one or more caption templates, one per line. Meldsy resolves them separately for every selected listing.
  8. Review the resolved titles and captions, then choose the first publish time and Draft for approval or Publish automatically.
  9. When more than one listing is selected, choose a publishing frequency of at least 12 hours. Meldsy shuffles the listings and posts each one once before any listing can repeat.
Meldsy Create a campaign window with multiple selected listings, fanned previews of up to four photos per Pin, per-listing photo checkboxes, and a publishing-frequency selector.
Choose up to four storefront photos for each listing’s Pin, then set how often the shuffled campaign publishes.
  10. Turn on Repeat this campaign when the campaign should reshuffle and begin again after every selected listing has been posted.
  11. Save or schedule the campaign. Chosen photos, links, availability checks, and copy stay listing-specific inside the shared campaign.

Choose draft approval or automatic publishing

  • Draft for approval keeps each generated Pin in the calendar until you review and approve it.
  • Fully automatic schedules eligible Pins without a separate approval step.
  • A board can be chosen while drafting. Fully automatic publishing requires a board before it can proceed.
  • Approval mode can also be set independently on each automation rule.

Shuffle listings and rotate creative

A multi-listing campaign randomly orders its selected listings and does not choose the same listing again until every listing in the current campaign cycle has been posted.

  • Only one campaign Pin is unpublished at a time. As soon as Pinterest confirms it was published, the next shuffled item appears in Calendar with a planned time that keeps the selected publishing interval.
  • Adding or removing listings reshuffles only the listings that have not been posted in the current cycle; already published listings are not reposted.
  • Repeating campaigns begin a fresh shuffled cycle only after every selected listing has been posted.
  • Each listing’s one-to-four selected photos publish together as one Pin; caption templates rotate across repeat cycles.
  • Use {title}, {store}, and {section} so every Pin keeps listing-specific copy.

Understand publishing safeguards

Before a scheduled Pin is sent, Meldsy rechecks its saved listing state. Work pauses when the listing is inactive, excluded, out of stock, or below an enabled low-stock threshold.

  • Temporary Pinterest failures are retried with increasing delays.
  • A permanent failure stays visible in the calendar with its error.
  • When the publish result is uncertain, Meldsy avoids creating another copy automatically; verify the board before retrying.
