Meldsy does not request Etsy write or messaging scopes.
How Etsy data relates to seller-entered costs
Sellers create their own material, purchase-lot, production, packing, and workflow records. Meldsy connects those entries to the seller's listings and combines completed-order costs with relevant Etsy financial details to estimate profit and margin. Production-stage choices remain seller controlled.
Uses Meldsy does not make
- No sale of seller or buyer information.
- No advertising, retargeting, or third-party marketing-platform connection.
- No unsolicited buyer email, text, order, shipping, or tracking messages.
- No machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model training using Etsy content.
- No scraping or access outside Etsy's supported API.
Retention and control
Etsy tokens are encrypted and removed when a seller disconnects. Etsy-originated records are retained only as reasonably needed for the seller's workspace and can be permanently deleted through the disconnect flow. Seller-created materials and settings can remain independent of the Etsy connection.
